ARTISTIC STATEMENT:

- As you know, CLICK was created with a focus on hand-picked live music performance artists and DJs, and a melting together of scenes and crossing of boundaries. “Something different” has always been the philosophy of CLICK’s creators and we have tried to balance touring artists (offering rare or “one off” performances in the region) with local favorites and legends.

- As with any event, lineups are subject to change. Concurrent to a lot of artists having been added, a few have been bumped. It is with paramount concern for your experience that we make these changes—from the musical quality to the originality of the lineup to the balance of styles and atmosphere to the ticket prices, we believe that CLICK will be an amazing night for all involved.

- With the utmost respect and admiration for said artists, we want everyone to know it is truly our desire and intention to work with them in the near future.

- We are fully aware of recent difficulties encountered by club goers at previous events at the Paradox. We are under the understanding that people have been harassed by security and have also had difficulties redeeming pre-sold tickets.

- Our goal is to ensure that everyone gains entry to this party at a timely fashion. If you wish gain entry to our party for $20 please be sure to buy your tickets at http://clicktheevent.eventbrite.com/ or join a $20 guest list through Tim Avatar or Dante Melange prior to Thursday the 24th. Everyone that has bought a ticket or is on a guest list will be guaranteed entry in a timely fashion and without undue wait times.

- CLICK is a place to show off your fashion sense. The theme is over-the-top period couture. This may mean your millennial interpretation of 80s hip-hop, 50s greaser, 70s disco, Futuristic, steampunk, or any person, place or thing that you ever found sexy, fun or fashionable. (Candy ravers, we haven't forgotten about you--90s meets 10s.)

TERRY MULLAN [Catalyst | Chicago]
Chicago’s turntablist extraordinaire turns out dance floors week after week throughout the US and abroad (Twilo, 1015 Folsom, Sona, Bugged Out, The End, Pure, The Queen, and raves as far off as Japan, Australia and Germany). His remixes for and alongside DJ Dan are favorites of DJs all over the globe, thanks to his signature style of funky quirky jacking acid house combined with cutting and scratching which makes up a genre all his own.

The Melange Social Club was created in 2006 in fashion-driven East London to introduce the creative class to a new way to experience nightlife—from bands, to DJs to performance artists, Melange has always been interactive, edgy, but not pretentious. Stripped down, yet spectacular, MSC’s focus is on quality sound, engaging music and fun, and foregoes VIP for intimacy. MSC has been covered by TimeOut London and The New York Times and was called “the last real bohemian venue in London” by Metro. The only venue recommended “24-7” by The London Paper, Melange was also touted as, “Probably one of the most anticipated club openings in London 06” by Don’t Stay In. Melange closed its doors in April 09 and is now focused on bringing the same experience to free-minded people up and down the mid-Atlantic. People that have frequented or played at Melange include Kate Moss, Pete Doherty, Chris Kane, The Others, Ed Harcourt, Robert Owens, Bugz In The Attic, The Travelling Band, The Brunettes, Mr C, Teens of Thailand, Sinden, Benji B, Calvin Harris, Pixie Geldof, Peaches Geldof, Keziah Jones, Flux Magazine /Amechi, Damian Hirst, Tenacious D, Super Super Mag, Dazed and Confused, Raw Fusion Records’ DJ Simbad, Patti Smith, Metronomy, Guillemots, Klaxons, Roots Manuva, Selina Scerri (fine artist), London School of Fashion, Elite Models London, Diesel, the guy next door, the kid on the corner and whatever other random people wanted to join in and add to the atmosphere.)
